Computer Cable...

In a class of computer cable, there are huge number of cables which come in various sizes of ports and plugs, various numbers of pins in them, various materials used and capacity. Based on the current trend, the most advanced the computer cable or transfer technology gets, the smaller and more efficient it gets.

For example, the ps/2 computer cable was the initial port used for connecting mice and keyboards to the computer. They were usually colour coded to make sure the users won't get confused between the ports for the mouse and the keyboard. However, today, the USB port is getting very popular among computer peripherals. Thus, the computer cable is being made mostly for these kinds of ports. A computer cable already meant for the ps/2 can still be used for the USB port through the use of an adapter that converts the ps/2 to the USB or vice versa.
